Hey guys,
I recently got my tax return lodged, and now I'm looking to spend a small amount on my PC to fill those empty slots! The items I was looking at getting was a new:
Monitor (Asus)
Reason being, my current one doesn't even have HD, and is 1680x1050. Not to mention it's starting to get feint flickering and has a small number of scratches that are slightly visible when over white/bright areas. I'm also only looking to get a 21.5
GPU (560Ti Hawk)
I currently have a Asus 560Ti, and would really like to get SLI going. Though this is my lowest of priorities, and I could probably wait for the next series to come out for a price drop. I'm just worried I won't get my hands on a Hawk in time
SSD (Corsair Force 3 or GT)
I currently have a 120Gb 225mbps SSD, but I would really just love to have a 60Gb there for a boot drive, and to also store my more "load heavy" games, as I will be starting WoW up again next year. I could then also leave the 120 open for programs and other less intensive games (DotA 2, HoN)
Sound Card (Asus Xonar Essence STX)
I don't have a sound card, but I've only heard good things about this one. I would really like to have one of these eventually, and I do play my games through my headphones, so the amplifier would be a great addition.
In the end, the one I'm leaning towards the most is the monitor and SSD, as new GPUs are around the corner, and I could always hold out for a sound card. I just wanted to get everyone else's opinion.
