In the spirit of the community it would be a good thing - others ay want to travel down that same route, if the proof is there to reach 300x12 under phase cooling with a Opteron 150, I think everyone here will want a piece of the action.
I just got back from researching the 'overclocks' of the 150 - the conclusions are:
The magic steppings have all gone (so you are probs buying an A64 4000+ called an opteron 150).
The Magic ones overclocked really well - in fact one person got 3.6Ghz - The bloke that did that is a guy who is (quite frankly) a god in the overclocking world - and he also has the best cooling equipment money can buy.
I bet you £20 that you do not get an Opteron 150 that YOU can overclock with normal Prommie phase cooling (no ln2 or DI or Gollums Cascade) past 3.25Ghz (superpi 32m stable).....
IMHO - The opty 150 will be a disappointment (in the UK) as all the good ones have been sold elsewhere I am afraid.
