the 23" looks like it has better specs but i cant find a review that compares them and yes im being lazy... lol anyone have these or would like to suggest which one i should go with

same price .6 inch more real estate I'd say the 23.6 one. But look at my post below about the Auria 26incher I just bought.

This really isnt a comparison. They both have the same specs, except the LED has a higher Cr and a .6" larger screen. the decision is clear it seems, the LED is obviously a better choice.

theyre both LED, the 23" has higher CR but less brightness

the 23.6" has lower CR but more brightness

Okay now i saw it lol.

Get the one with a higher Cr. Youll get a better picture, the brighter one isnt really going to offer anything to picture quality other than make the whites a little brighter.

Yea that link is old. All that pretty much states is that the numbers can be exasperated. But I assure you if something is 1000:1 and another is 100000000:1 the 1000000000:1 will look better. there really is no set number for Cr but if the gap is as such there will most defiantly be a difference. now something like 1000:1 and 700:1 there is no difference, the only reason the company will put 1000:1 is so it looks nicer in the specs (advertising). but then again it is all advertising, but the example i showed above defiantly stands true.

but i think that article proves that a 10,000,000:1 dynamic pretty much is the same to a 50mil:1 dynamic CR

im still gonna go witl the 50mil one...has better reviews

it really all comes down to what your eyes like better. i doubt a 50mil to one would look the same a 10mil to one. they may look close but they they will have visual differences.

50m:1 would look different to 10m:1, but your eyes would definitely struggle to notice any difference. When the contrast ratio is up in the millions you are going to be hard pressed to tell, if it was in the thousands/tens of thousands it would be more noticeable.

And btw both are LED.

At the end of the day, customer reviews are great to look at seeing as they have actually got the product.
