Which mouse would you guys recommend?...

Ew, Razer :p

Personally I like my Roccat Kone [+], but lately I feel their products have become a little more... tacky. Either way I'd personally not even consider the Razer (although their quality is said to be improved lately) and go with either the Roccat or Logitech.

Yeah... thing is that the Roccat and Logitech are laser mices, the Razer is optical. Which optical is more "preferred" for gaming.

I've now tested the Razer DeathAdder Chroma and it was a bit too big and thinks it's a bit too high in the palm.

I've used this mouse for a few years now and the rubber on the scroll wheel is loosing up.. so I'd like something similar in size and in black/blue (blue led) colours.

The SteelSeries Rival looks like the same kind of size with nice ergonomics, as well as the CM Storm Mizar (?)... You know any other gaming mouse? (Preferbly optical sensor).

Or the Ozone Neon black version?...

Thank you!

Well so far I've owned the following mice -

Razer Deathadder
Razer Mamba
Razer Ouroboros
Various Microsoft mice
Roccat Kone XTD
Asus ROG GX1000
Logitech Performance MX
Corsair M65
Corsair M95

And hands down the M95 is the best I've owned, Not optical it's laser but if you're after something with great performance and superb build quality I'd highly suggest it, It's built like a tank ^_^

I have the Razer naga 2012 as I play MMO'S in the winter time I find it very comfortable and the thumb grid can be used for other things :)

So to "revive" this thred, for no reason at all... I was wondering if you guys know any mouse that is in the size of this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-6D-...264?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27f1526858

And this http://www.roccat.org/us-en/Products/Gaming-Mice/Kone-Pure-Series/Kone-Pure/

And finally the Logitech MX518.

The Roccat Kone Pure was nice, only that when I held it in the store, my pinky and the finger between the long one and the pinky, felt a bit odd.

Plus if you know any mice that has some grippy surface to it as well?... the Corsair one that Dice mentioner earlier looks good, only waaay to many side buttons.

Ohh, and preferbly black and blue colors... if it's with LED or RGB, then that's fine. Just no red and black though :p

Also, I'd prefer optical over laser... btw, is there really any difference between laser and optical?. I know that laser usually tracks better and if you then have cloth mousepad, which has some tiny small gaps in it, the mouse will "jitter" or something. Just what I've heard and according my mate who did an extensive research before he purchased his Razer DeathAdder Chroma.

Thanks lads,
Chrazey

Cant really help you with the sensor, however have you given the Razer taipan any though? As I used it before the Ouroboros and it was and still is a great mouse, I am actually considering switch the Ouroboros out as I cant really get used to it for some reason.

I have the steelseries sensei and honestly its a really awesome mouse. Kind of hard to get used to the grip at first if you hold your mouse claw. Only issue i have had is the mouse started peeling a little where my thumb rests after about 10 months of use i contacted steelseries about it and they sent me a brand new mouse few days later :D.

Sorry but Razer is shit same goes for Logitech, I own a Corsair one atm but my next mouse might be a Mionix.

But i really love my Corsair mouse.

Well most of Razers stuff is complete garbage aimed at children who love flashy lights, however they do have some really great products. Their prices for the decent stuff without all the flash decorations are actually not too bad either.

One thing I do like about them is their warranty, my lycosa keyboard was malfunctioning and they sent me a new one within the week, I didnt even have to pay the return postage costs.

My favorite mouse from them is the Lachesis, had it for quite a few years now and it is still doing great, if I wasnt on 4k I would still be using it for the desktop, so now its only for the notebook.

I own the Corsair M60.. love it except for the fact that it's little to small for my hands.. Have had it since I was 17 and even then it was to small.. I might have large hands but I don't think they are that large. My brother own's the Mionix Naos 3200. It's a much different fit since it's right handed only the way it's set up compared to the M60 which is more friendly to lefties too. I love the Naos but again only problem is slightly to small.

I have large hands too but for me i found the M65 to be fine

What I hate about mices is that YOU seem to be the one that is retarded ... since no mouse is 100% perfect for you.

I obviously like small mices, the SteelSeries Sensei is good I must admit... only that is has dual side buttons, ie on both sides. Not nice nor fancy in my opinion.

I'd like to try a Corsair one or a random brand one, but can't seem to find a suitable one...

I can't complain too much, im still using the same Razer Naga mouse from 4 years ago. Its yet to deveop a fault. My gripe is the horrible synapse software which is needed if you want to bind some keyboard functionalities

Logitech's mice are much better than anything corsair make. Extremely well built too. They just look awful. Except the G303, which looks OK.

Zowie make excellent mice. Nice and understated too. I love my Zowie EC1. The black one looks great but my white one has suprised me at how good it looks in the flesh.

I really like that white mouse, I just feel when it comes to mice and everyday use, all the grubby grease and crap that escapes from the skin eventually builds up and can make it look nasty over time.

Its wipe clean :D. Thats the best bit about it! Obviously if the skin stuff gets in the gaps it'll need a clean with a toothpick/whatever but its very easy to keep clean.
