Which memory should i get

I'm looking to buy new memory again, i'm using a ASUS Maximus VII Ranger, i have ask some people they have said i should go with 2x8 but i would like to go 4x4, why would have some people have told me not to do that cause its a Z97 board so i'm kinda confused the only real difference i can tell is price. the memory i got told to get is Corsair Vengeance Pro CMY16GX3M2A2133C11R 16GB 2x8GB DDR3 $235.00 AUD.

Also if i was to go with 4x4 kit which one out of theses 2 would be better
Corsair Vengeance Pro CMY8GX3M2A2133C11R 8GB 2x4GB DDR3 $125.00 AUD
Corsair Vengeance Pro CMY8GX3M2B2133C9R 8GB 2x4GB DDR3 $125.00 AUD
Is it better to go with something with the higher or lower CAS

Low cas is better,but since z77 bandwith(MHz) is the game.
If it were me i would choose 2x8gb too.

Not to be rude, but why would that be, for an option down the track to add more memory.

Do you need 16GB?

I would get a 2x4GB kit either 2133C9 or 2400C11 personally for general use as they all seem to be a similar price in the UK. There will be very little perceivable real world difference between any of them but lower CAS is better.

Well i thinking about starting to record my let's plays and upload them to youtube i thought having like 16gb either 4x4 or 2x8 would be good for encoding, as far as i know here i don't think i can get 2400C11 but i could be wrong tho

Yeah i know that problem is here stores aren't going to stock it if its not going to sell but i'm sure its the same everywhere, would you buy 4x4 kit 2x8 with the 4x4 i would have to get 2 kits and pay an extra $15 AUD, i was wrong Tom there are some places down here that do stock it one place has it for $218.90 AUD
