Ill start at the beginning, My Razer Blackwidow Ultimate had some keys that decided they would no longer work so the place were i got it from exchanged it for the 2013 green top model which was nice of them as they didnt have any of the 2012 model in stock.
Now because its a green theme i want to change the led's of my case fans but im unsure as to which led type i should get to replace my case fans led's, All info regarding the fans stats are below, Any help or advice is appreciated :)

Rated voltage: 12V DC
Start voltage: 7 V DC
Operating range: 7V~13.2 V DC
Rated current: 0.25 Amp
Rated power: 3W

P.S And if anyone asks yes i know how to use a soldering iron :p

Wouldn't it be wise just to take a fan out of your case (assuming from op that you have LEDs in the fans already) then just buying that size LED? which i would assume are 3mm standard LEDs.

Also if you were meaning the right current LEDs 3mm greens are suggested to be used below 25mA and 2.2V(these are max values for the LEDs i have) how ever as the circuit is then going to the fan im guessing it shouldn't blow the LED.

I used 3mm round LED's with a 1.8-3.4 forward voltage in my Silverstone FN181's,
Got them from LED light depot, on Ebay.
It is much easier done with the fan out of the case.
Ha Ha.

Well yes obviously I will take out the fans to change the LED's ^^
Emailed Silverstone to see which LED's are the correct ones to be on the safe side, Should hear back soon hopefully :)
