Which LCD for my PS3 in my room (£800 and below?)

That is exactly like mine, however it is slightly more advanced as far as I know. Not sure by what it differs etc, but it is a fantastic tele.

When we first bought it, we did see it compared to others like Samsung etc, and the Samsung, even online reviews doesn't match it at all.

Panasonic is one of the best ones to go for, although you pay high for that kind of quality ;)

Yeah the qualities are bound by the price ranges for me. U have the ~£500- bracket, ~£750 and ~£1000+.

There are some manufacturers that will excell in some brackets and not in other so much.

And to be fair their are some beyond extreme priced models that, tbh, I wouldn`t touch. But their handsets look nice and they do cute things - bah.

Just want to throw up the Samsung lorry and Sony lorry leaving the factory thing. Only the Sony Bravia is exception to this law. The components are shipped to one factory near London and the bits are thrown together with the only difference being the external case. This was my grandfathers job until 2 years ago.

Also LG, Beko, Phillips, Alta are all the same with most of their parts being interchangable with Hitachi as well.

There are many out within £800. Plasmas are a lot better than they were but some do suffer lower grade electronics controllers which naff the quality. Make sure you buy over the net using a search price engine thingy as my 40" from Sony was £1200 while on the average net price £800 while from a dinky shop it was £623.

atm its kinda...

40v4000

or

32v4000

Really trying to see if i can fit a 40" in my room and if i can afford it

FYI

I chose a toshiba 32xv555 over the sony 32v4000 as the sony apparently doesnt handle motion too well and tends to trail a lot of the image.

£479 delivered and 3 years warranty from digital direct.

yay :D

gotta wait till the 25th tho lol

I don't have a PS3 yet because I don't a Flat-TV either. I was wondering if I should get one right now or wait for those OLED. The problem is that I heard that they don't last as long as a normal plasma or LED TV. Can anyone share some thoughts on this topic?

Well i got panasonic lx32d85 in the end

all i can say is get a high end 720p instead of a low end 1080p screen

I would say a Pana is the best choice, failing that a Sony (unless you can afford a Kuro that is). Personally I've got a sweet Pana TH-42PZ80B Plasma and it's stunning

Panasonic 42" Plasma here

Sexy as hell. By far the best display I've seen for high def....apart from my mates Pioneer Kuro

yeah i would DEFINATLY say Panasonic,

panasonic are by far the best televisions, (FACT not opinion) they have more build in technology than any other television delivering the clearest image with the highest sound quality.

i would agree samsungs are possibly the best looking televisions, but since you after quality panasonic viera is definatly the way to go!

also, panasonics support higher resolutions than most televisions if you ever decide to use it as a huge monitor
