Which GTX 780 to buy?

If you plan on watercooling the card in the future then you should go for the EVGA, as they will allow you to replace the stock air cooler with a waterblock.

All you have to do is put the air cooler back on, if you need to RMA it and for me that is worth the extra money.

I always buy EVGA because they're a quality card, good customer service, and have been doing it forever. IN FACT, i own a OC'd ACX EVGA and it works awesome. My next choice would be Asus as they have a great company as well.

Hey mate thanks for your input. Is there any particular reason why you would change from Evga to Asus with your next buy?

I just hope EVGA's 780 cooling fans are better than their 580's as I've had two replacement cards in one year. Both cards had vibration issues at around 65% fan speed. But Scan replaced them for me with their 2 year warranty.

All the threads on GPU's, and I still don't know what card to get myself. It's sending my nuts lol.

Lol yeah i know the feeling. But then again Radeon cards aint bad at all either.......and the big question is as i play FPS games like BF3 and CS i always play with medium or low quality graphics settings for faster reactions etc. I have a 27" monitor IPS which a company built for me in Korea. Capable of overclocking to 120Hz @ 2560 x 1440. The same company who builds Scribby's Overlord Tempest OC monitors. I only overclock it to 95Hz. Ive read some posts where they say ATI cards perform better @2560 x 1440 than the Nvidia card. Now if that is true i would not know.......

And at the end is Tessalisation and PhysX really worth it? Such few games supporting it though.......

@Neverbackdown thank you for your reply

Listen buddies i am even more confused now.......
My supplie told me today they are getting a MSI GTX 780Lightning Edition. I have read some reviews on the card and that which i have read it is basically 2% slower than a Titan. Very little power consumption as well........

Does anyone know whether the Lightning is better than the EVGA ACX GTX780? I understand some reviews speak about the Lightning running slightly hot when over clocked.

Now my big question is should you guys go for the EVGA or the Lightning Edition? The Lightning does look like a super awesome card hey
