which driver version?

just wondered if anybody else was finding that some benches love some drivers more than others.

im still rocking 260.99 (win7 64) for the more modern stuff but i had noticed that on xp the older benches like older drivers but does anybody know which are better on what?

Depends on which benchmark and card sadly. Can take ages finding the best one. Its why I hate 3D benching. Have a looking at the top 5 results for gpu your using in XP. I remember XP driver 180 was great for 200 series cards.

197.45 for pre dx9, 3dmark 05 and older.

260.99 for dx9 and later for me.

Im running a GTX 570 on 266.58 i see improvements in all my games and benchmarks.
