Which 770?

So with all the different brands, which 770 should i go with since this 760 is going back? im a little turned off of EVGA at the moment, but i will take all advice. looking for a 2gb 770. Gigabyte windforce cooler? EVGS ACX? Asus?

Could you give a little more information. Was the 760 faulty, was it too slow, what screen resolution will you be using, what are the rest of your system specs.

The reason I am asking is the GTX 770 is faster than a GTX 760 but not a huge step up.

i got a palit jetstream 770 4GB. gotta admit though that the only reason i bought it was that i could get it for 390 euros. now it's at 460 euros

This is not a GTX 770 but it is a bit faster than the GTX 760 and they are going at a good price.

Can't you just replace the current 760? If you really want to upgrade then Gigabyte,Msi, AsusDc2, and Galaxy cards are great for nonreference coolers.

i can replace the card, but its about 3 weeks faster to return the one i have now for a refund and buy a new card....the turnaround on the RMA is about 4 weeks....

do you guys think the 770 is a worthwhile upgrade over the 760? for the extra $100

Well that's up to you. If the 760 when you used it was very satisfying then an extra 100$ may not be worth it. If you feel you wanted a little more umph then a 770 will do you just fine.. Also resale value of a 770 should also last longer than a 760.

Only ones about I've seen are the Inno3d one which is on overclockers and an EVGA SC version which I've only seen available from EVGA direct.
