Where to put my radiator,

Looking at 1st time watercooling,

but i have no idea where to put the radiator,

i have a coolermaster stacker 830 nvidia edition,

i'd like to install it with minimum modding,

Simple swap for my Thermaltake Kandalf. But with that case I have no idea, you could always do it external.

i wanna keep it all inside,

there's a mount for a double on the bottom of the case,

but i've been told i should run a triple,

i'll b cooling a cpu n the gtx 295, which is goin to belt out heat,

just stumbled across this, looks deadly, n easy,

but requires 2 240 radiators, (breakin the bank)

they are BIP skinny rads, anything thicker will hit the gpu mate.

have you tried standing the 360mm rad up in the drive bays?

then where would i put the drives?

edit, the black ice gt stealth is only 2.85mm thicker than a 'bip' rad,

i'm so torn,

would one 240 gt extreme rad cool the cpu n gpu well enough?

or do i defo need more?

If it had have been a 360 you could have mounted it on the rear like I did with mine here

n which way are the fans blowing?

I had some brackets made up and used some sheathed/sleeved screws to attach it to the case. Fans were drawing air through the rad and being expelled against the wall

Doesn't having the fans outside the case defeat the object of watercooling being a silent solution? Or are you just going for temps?

Predominantly for temps, however those Xinruillian 120mm fans weren't too loud externally anyway. The Cooler Master Stacker 830 doors are largely made of mesh so it's not really the quietest case anyway if you're aiming for total silence.
