I'm currently looking around to replace my aging 32" Sony Bravia 720p TV. I don't have a TV license anymore so everything goes through the HTPC, including my gaming.
I figure without a license I may as well get a decent monitor, especially as planning to get a decent 4K card from Polaris when they're out. I was planning on an R9 Fury, but my guess is that we'll see Polaris before I have the cash.
The only problem is that there's some great 32"+ 2160p displays out there, but none of them support Freesync (or GSync for that matter). The largest one I could find is this 31.5" Samsung.
I'd really like to step up the size of my screen as my new house has a huge living room. Freesync seems like a good idea as 4K really isn't at the point where you can go Ultra with AAA games at 60Hz yet, and I doubt the new cards will be able to lock that frame-rate either.
Does anyone know when we'll see a larger screen with Freesync?
