YOU KNOW YOU'VE BEEN IN UNIVERSITY TOO LONG WHEN...

You actually like doing laundry at home where the washing machines work.

Two miles is not too far to walk for a party.

You'd rather clean than study especially if an essay is due.

"Oh sh1t how did it get so late!" comes out of your mouth at least once a night.

Parents' cooking becomes something you desire, not avoid.

You schedule your classes around sleep habits and soap operas especially neighbours and Hollyoaks.

You know the pizza boy by name and don't even need to read the menu.

You go to sleep when it's light and get up when it's dark.

You live for getting mail.

Looking out the window is a form of entertainment.

Prank phone calls become funny............again.

You start thinking and sounding like your friends and your accent becomes a hybrid of West Country, Surrey and general Northern.

Highlighters are the coolest things on earth.

Rearranging your room is your favourite pastime.

Rubbish cheap £1 shops are so cool.

The weekend lasts from Thursday to Monday.

I think Mav's been at phase change too long seeing as he misspelled "Uni" as "Unit" in the thread title. :p

It's good to ensure that your own is grammar correct before you go picking holes in others

I do like cooking myself, however, when you come back really really tired from swimming training you really miss having someone to cook dinner for you while you just crash on the sofa. I love my parents, Uni has certainly taught me that.

What's that supposed to mean? And where's your full-stop? [img']http://www.extremeprometeia.com/forum/images/smilies/eek.gif[/img]

Hiding behind the smiley - but correcting peoples grammar for them is irritating, spam in my opinion. Please stop correcting mine, I usually read through my posts and correct them when I have the time..... titles are uncorrectable for new threads unfortunately.

My biggest problem is that I have a lot to say (and am supposed to be working) so I do rush through my posts and type as fast as I can - this (more often than not) does end up with some mistakes.

FYI - there has been a scientific study to say that the human brain is able to process jumbled up words into what they really mean (soemhting about only seeing every other letter when we read and the brain fills in the gaps - so think of my posts as a scientific experiment to prove the point :D

Mmm one of our utimate frisbee team members is getting "HCUK" on the back of his team shirt. (If you don't get it a long throw into the endzone in ultimate frisbee is called a "huck").
