whats the best resolution to play games at

just curious as to what specs,i should be running my resolution at, iv got a 22 inch LG monitor,i play my games on the Biggest resolutions i can that comes with the game itself,current games i play have 1600x900 set,should i put it down a little to perhaps 1280 x 1024 to get the most out of the game, would i get more details in my gaming, Oh btw iv got a 8800gtx GPU,cheers for any help.

Play at the highest possible with the most AA you can get.

In your case I would imagine it's 1680 x 1050 and with a GTX you should get at least 4 x AA and 8 x AF on all games

okay,cheers for that,i usually max out settings to the Highest anyways,considering the card i got running, should handle it.

I run the same rez, everything as high as it will go on my 8800GTS, so you should have no trouble atall.
