Whats the best 2.1

Hi i want to know what 2.1 speakers you recommend for under £50 and i want it for dubstep, drum and bass etc. Mainly for music and a bit of gaming.

Klipsch pro media 2.1. are as good as you'll get for under $150 but for your price....Nothing is good.

Alte Lansing VS2621s. picked em up for about £50. i listen to Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Metal and so on as well as mixing on them, and they perform very solidly at the bottom end.

My particular pair are not brilliantly shielded, but they really vibrate the walls when Skrillex or Dubba Jonny bring in a drop and its up full blast. thats pretty outstanding for low powered speakers.

Thing is, 5.1 is wasted on music, as it is all recorded in stereo. you are better off paying more for a 2.1 system than paying less for a 5.1.

Cheap 5.1 systems are generally not true surround anyway, usually more "doubled up" stereo, where the front L & R is mirrored to the rear L & R.

5.1 for that cheap! you have to be out of your mind to even consider that. That would no doubt come with the crappiest speakers you could imagine!

What my mate doe is just use E-Bay like a beast, particularly the speakers with pick up only, sometimes you can grab yourself a great deal.
