Hello everyone!
This is my current rig:
Case: Aerocool VX-R LE (2 new enermax cluster 120mm fans (white led) and 1 new 140mm be quiet silent wings)
Mobo: ASRock 870 Extreme 3
CPU: AMD Athlon II x4 640 (standard cooling)
GPU: Sapphire 5770 vapor-x
MEM: 4gb ocz ddr3-1333
PSU: OCZ StealthXtreme 600W (eol)
Sound: Asus xonar dx
Wlan: tp link something card (pci slot)
____________
I've also got these parts:
- EK Supreme HF nickel/acetal cpu block
- EK multioption x2 150 reservoir advanced
- Laing ddc-1+ Ultra 18w (swiftech mcp355)
I wanted to watercool my cpu, just because of the silence and the 'looks cool'-factor ^^
But now I'm not so sure anymore. I just can't find the right case and I'm doubtful about it because it seems like waisting a lot of money on something that doesn't increase the performance... It feels kind of wrong
although it would be cool. Oh hell I don't know :/ please help!
Silence, cool looks, but still good gaming performance.
I've been thinking about another 5770 (or 6770) to go crossfire. Or maybe a real silent case, but what about the watercooling? Maybe I'd be better of with something like a noctua nh-d14? But that doesn't fit in the case I have now... Or maybe cpu upgrade? Or an SSD? Wait for 7xxx-series or maybe bulldozer? But then a AM3+ motherboard would be required. See my problem?
If your ideas would fit in or around a €200 budget, that would be great ^^ Thanks!
