What to do...

tcase_2.JPG

tCase for another X2 there, how well should this one clock?

Not as well i would say looking at the two of your chips Tcase as on the first one you posted it shows 67C for the Tcase and 78.1 Watts for the TDP and for this one showing 61c Tcase and 59.4 watts TDP, so the first one can get hotter and take more current than this one, i will not say you will not get a good clock from it but know where near as good as the first chip you posted.

also can everyone please post there pics in the section listed

Main AMD64 TCaseMax Release V1.19 please.

thanks

£380 sounds like alot of money for an FX-57, I'd be much more inclined to buy a decent stepping Opteron or a nice clocking 3800x for about half that.

So if you wanted to go the FX route, what sort of money is the correct amount???

Well for less than £200 more you could have got an FX60 off mav so a 57 at that price is a little high.

When I sell my FX55 off RMA if it ever shows up I'll be selling it pretty cheap just due to its age and I'm not testing it. £380 seems a little steep for a 57 I think.

Boardy,

Thanx for the reply.

The 55 sounds interesting if it ever comes up for sale as that would give me an unlocked multiplyer to have a play with.

Will have a good look around to see what the 57's are selling for.

regards,

Matt
