Is there anywhere that you can still find BH-5/6 chips?

Because this is an amd machine tight timings are crucial - if i can't find any bh-5/6 whats the next best ram to get? keep in mind im going for 250fsb+ but still want good timings (doesn't everyone).

Thanks.

dual Channel for sure.

I have 512 of TwinMOS Dual Channel... Wish I had gone for 1 gig but budget would not allow..

Yeah get the EB modules...they look nice...

ocz is coming up with some more kickass sticks...

which will defo rock in intel rigs with their low ras to cas timings...gotta wait and see...

OCZ 3200 Platinum LE is good with an A64 rig - it's BH6 and loves volts. I've also got some BH5 Corsair 1.1 sticks here that are 3500 rated and should be equally impressive in an A64 setup, but for now these are going in my freshly modded Asus Intel board. I'll be happy if they can stand DDR480 1:1.

BH5 is becoming increasingly hard to get - you can still find it if you look hard enough but you're talking big money now.

The new ram by OCZ is very good, but it isnt a replacement for BH5.

ive been wondering but never asked, what is the diff between BH-5 sticks and normal highly oveclockable "gaming" ram?

heh, im not sure if ill bother buying this BH-5 stuff, depends what it can offer, im read nice things about OCZ 4400 memory, ok its running at cas3 but it works at 1:1 with the CPU in most cases :D dunno will have to think on it

OK. I am going to ask something really dumb here, I'm sure... BH5 & BH6????

I just know they let your run @ 2-2-2-6

CH-5 is generally 2-3-3-*

It's not that much of a difference with intels but with amd's i notice it quite a bit.

Seen some OCZ 3200 which does 2-3-2-5 timings. Thens theres also the mushkin 2-2-2 special. The thing is I wanted to see some 250FSB region - Can pc3200 cope with that?

Oh phill if you ever wanted to get those BH-5 off your hands, i'm your man ;)

I am getting my voltmodded board back today so I will see what this BH5 is capable of finally - It does 2,2,2,5 @ 235FSB 1:1 @ 2.85v so lets see what this 2x256 will do at 3.3v shall we :D

ooooooh /me drools, sounds nice, i know its scarce so where is it actually possible to buy some from, /me thinks ill need some for a good overclock, also does the ram ned extra cooling? as it is running much higher on volts

regurlar heatspreaders should do, I can run my kingston ram @3.1V and it doesn't get that hot. Some memory brands seem to like voltage more than others though.

I also want to know where to get some. The thing is I can't afford anything atm, but will need some by the summer time, but by then they will be even more rare :(
