I thought I'd start this poll after reading another thread.

I use iTunes.

I find it is the best software I've used for organising & playing my albums. MP3 Tags are pretty good and easy to adjust on it, I find the UI is pretty good and also every now and again use it to listen to new bands/albums.

It also keeps my collection organised nicely into folders & filenames named according to the mp3 tags. AlbumArt is pretty good aswell altho I don't really use coverflow.

I mainly use it in mini mode with CD Art Display in windows and with Growl on Mac OS X.

I multi boot so errr

Either

Winamp or Amarok although i only have WMP on the gaming partition atm

ah yer

on linux I use - SongBird

Didn't like the idea of having to install half of KDE just to run AmaroK on Gnome :(

Also it looks and operates exactly like iTunes

Foobar here. Just import the directory, hit shuffle and play. 2 global hotkeys to control the enter thing. And it uses up sod all resources.

iChoons FTW!

Only program I use anymore, I used to exclusively use Winamp, but I find iTumes much simpler to find and sort through songs than anything else. Plus it links up flawlessly with my Mac and iPod and all that good stuff.

I used Foobar for a bit but it's pretty basic and a little dull. I couldn't be arsed to spend hours surfing for plugins either

Itunes ftw. Seeing as im an ipod owner i don't bother with anything else.

I've got an iPod and have tried several other players but it always comes out on top in the end

Winamp hands down! :)

Tried it and found it too unstable and cluttered, despite skinning it with several different skins as well as using the standard one

Yep that's the reason I use it, plus I like the UI and the mini player and stuff :)

Touchy feely?

Not sure I'd want to know haha

I dont mind WMP, just never really got on with the playlist and library stuff. I use foobar simply because it runs completely inconspicuously. I have Pg Up and Pg Down as global skip tracks, Num + and Num - as global volume controls and Pause as a global pause / play. Its great when you always have music on like myself.

As its christmas i'm currently foobaring some alan williams, sinatra, dean martin and a bit of lady ella :)
