So I get a infraction for saying a D word that rhymes with sick yet it's perfectly OK to circumvent the swear filter by posting pics.

I'll bear that in mind *cough* hypocrisy *cough*

There should have been another Option there Who cares
We cared and still do, it was the hot topic last night and got quite heated with the debate, what are Cacti? Tree, Grass, Flower, ect ect ect. The term "plant" just doesn't cut the mustard I'm afraid.

Well sorry i don't get it and i think it's stupid just my opinion

FYI, it seems that even the name is a vague translation of ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The word "cactus" derives, through Latin, from the Ancient Greek κάκτος, kaktos, a name originally used by Theophrastus for a spiny plant whose identity is not certain

Its all three as Cacti vary so much. :)

It is a plant, what more do you need?
It is a plant as much as an Oak is a tree.
It is then a Cactus as much as a Rose is a Rose but also a plant.

now we have all that cleared up. One last point, They are ALL ULTRA GRASS!!!!!

But a Cactus Blossoms like a Tree and also retains water like Bamboo which is a Grass... it's all very confusing.

Cacti bloom, they are flowering plants. As for retaining water, many other plants also do this, for example Aloe Vera and other succulents.

I think that this subject should be addressed at school early on in our lives to avoid embarrassing situations like this.

I think maybe a mandatory week of education at a Cacti learning college would do wonders for society.

Not sure if it's the same in the Eurozone but in Aus when something is Cactus - it's rooted. (look that one up too)
