What gaming mice should I get?

I'm buying a PC in a few weeks and I don't know what mice to get.
Here's a list of what I'm looking at:
-Mionix NAOS 5000
-Corsair Vengeance M60
-Logitech G700
-Razer Deathadder
-Razer Mamba
-Logitech G500
Out of all of these mice which of these do you recommend? I plan at playing FPS games and Minecraft and I want my mouse to last at least one year.

Like I said in your other thread, the Deathadder is my all time favorite mouse. It is the most comfortable I've ever used and almost the most precise. The new Razer Synapse software is great and I like it but I don't like that you have to create an account and their TOS agreement says they can data mine your personal info. This new software is mandatory if you want to configure and customize your new mouse which is why I can no longer recommend any new Razer products. However, Razer still offers the standard legacy drivers for their older stuff so you can get a Deathadder and use the old drivers and be fine.

My 2nd choice would be the G9x if you have smaller hands and use more of a claw grip or the G500 or G700 if you like bigger mice.

The more i learn about Razer in general the more I avoide their products, the synapse software is just the latest thing to put me off. Customer service when something goes wrong doesnt seem to good and build quality seems to be at best inconsistent.

Personally I really like the G500, decent price, nothing too fancy but everything it does it does well.

I too have a steelseries Sensei for about a year now. All the razer products i have had have broken :( but the sensei is working perfectly :)

Choose the right mouse is all about finding the best fitting one for you, I would go in some shops and try some mouses to find the right form for your hand. DPI isn't that important, if you don't play on very high resultions. Mayby weight management would be useful feature.

The NAOS is supposed to be a really good mouse and really comfortable. Take a look at the Razer Interpreter as well, it's what I am using at the moment and it's a really good mouse.

The Gigabyte Krypton is a great mouse too if you like longer mice and 'indented' where your thumb and little finger would sit.

I own the G500 and I love it. Chuck the weights in the bin as they are a gimmick and you have yourself an AWESOME mouse. Half the price of most other mice with all their features. With this mouse you dont need anything more of anything less. Its just absolutely brill. Oh and btw all my other gaming friends use this (or an extremely similar) Logitech mouse.

I do however believe that a mouse is a personal thing and its what ever suits you.

Just to let you know I have used the steel series sensei and some razor shit and HATED them all. Sent the sensei back within 2 weeks. I cant believe this would fit in any humans hand. The buttons on the other side of the mouse are pointless and cant be used willingly although I did happen to push them on all the occasions I didnt want to. I know you can disable them but the annoying click click click started to get on my nerves.

So my advice from one serious gamer to another is to try lots out and pick whats good for you.

Had 2 G500s, on both the left click button messed up. Creaked and double clicked on a single click. The Sensei is more suited to claw grip.

all my razers have FUBAR'd over time
middle button/scroll wheel tend to have a mind of their own after while :(

i now have a gigabyte krypton (dual chassis) 8200dpi gaming mouse
lights can be changed to match theme, and it has weights so that you can customise its feel.

i like it so much, that when i smashed my last one 2wks ago in an accident at my office desk, i instantly bought another one ;)

i must also add: it is the same size as the deathadders but ambidextrous

Maybe a G700?

Im posting this on my IPHONE from a friends house and he uses a G7. Maybe i can try a G700 since i like the G7 he has?

Can't go wrong at all with a G700. They are superb. Word is they're going to be able to be used with Logitech Gaming Software eventually and that's a nice plus.

Honestly I haven't had any issues with the Razer software, basically because I'm always connected to the internet. I have a Deathadder 3.5 and love it. The new edition looks fantastic, too. I've heard great things about the M60, G9x, and the G500.

Its not so much that it requires an internet connection, its that its forced on you. You have to create an account, have an internet connection and worst of all, they can use your personal info. All this for a mouse! If it was an optional bit of software, nobody would mind but as of yet, there are no standalone drivers for the newer Razer products. Thats the rub.

Getting a G500

After using his G7 after quite some time I found it to be very comfortable. i looked it up on the internet and I guess it is about exactly the same as a G500. I think I'm going to go with a G500 because of this and since I really liked the feel I will definitely like the G500.
