What Digital cable do you use for Audigy 2 to Logitech Z680

I've just bought myself some coax RCA which fits the Audigy (to a degree) but I'm not overly impressed, it feels like it could fall out any minute. I want digital connectivity between the two thats all, and this is proving the second biggest challenge of the day. So far.

phill why dont you use your onboard? im presuming u have onboard coaxil spidif? these are the exact speakers im getting too, well these or the alesis version (both exactly the same i think)

Am i right in thinking the speakers conect to the amp in the sub with regular speaker cabling used on hifis etc, i.e you can go to maplins or virtually any retialer and buy reels of the stuff to to extend it well cheap :P

Yeah they are the ones mate. They are the best PC speakers you can get your hands on - I've got some Megaworks 550 THX here and the Z680's sound better IMHO. The bass is "punchier" and the mid-tone is really nice.

ok the audigy 2 zs i bought has a digital output.

in order to use it get a 3.5mm mini MONO jack to Coaxial

the connect it with your coaxial cable and the speakers and youre done.watch it though cos some guys are gonna give you a 3.5mm mini mono jack to antenna...which is not what ure after...

i am using this connection with my av receiver ;)

I heard that the mid-tone on the megaworks was a bit sucky, and the bass wasnt as deep as it could be, thats why i changed from wanting to get megaworks to wanting logitechs, also megaworks are moulded plugs so you have to buy extenders from them :(

You got it in one. I get exactly the same response from mine. The bass is superior on the Z680's from the minute you switch the sub on, surprisingly so.

IMO there is this problem with 90% of PC sub systems. They reeally aint targetting the right audience, yet the price reflects the audience they should be targetting, i cant find a better way to explain the bass output on many of these system other than "false" it is flat, loud thuds isnt good bass, godd bass doesnt need to be ultra loud to make ure stomach feel fuzzy, and fuzzy stomachs feel good :P lol
