Black Veil Brides is amazing, went to their gig last year in november.
You should really listen to Heart of Fire, and The Legacy :)

I bought all their albums earlier, I was in need of some new music so I bought a load of different albums today including all of Black Veil Brides. :D
 
Only good song(to me its decent but many disagree) from Black Veil Brides was Of Knives and Pens.. the youtube version.. not the itunes version(which is worse, changes everything). Other than that i disliked all their songs.. They were meh tbh.

Though i recently started listening to Texas In July.. now that is some awesome music. Their new album is the best thing i've heard in a while.

I didn't like the album-version of Knived and Pens either, but I think their new songs are pretty good! Especially Heart of Fire. It's something different, but I dig it. I don't really know Texas In July, but I do have some songs from them in my playlist on Spotify, they're pretty good indeed!

The problem I have with BvB is that they always used to act like they were the most hardcore band around even though they've always kind of been the pussy-band in the scene as far as heavy music goes. Don't mean to offend anyone here, if you like them that's cool but they're not exactly hardcore. And whenever you say that publicly you'll get a bunch of 13 year-old 'emo' girls spamming you :s

Gotta admit that I haven't listened to anything they released after Knives & Pens though. Maybe I should give the new stuff a shot.

BvB definitely are not that hardcore, I listen to a lot of bands whos music is much more hardcore than BvB. Personally i'd say they are on par with Linkin Park, maybe a little bit more hardcore than them, but around the same.
I just wanted someone new music to listen to and I had never heard of them till yesterday to be honest :)

They're absolutely not hardcore indeed. Not only their music too. Andy always emphasizes he smokes a lot, though in interviews he lights one, takes three puffs and throws it away :p

Honestly though, if you remove their make-up and change their clothing they would, indeed, be on par with Linking Park (which is an amazing band imo). :)

And as said before, I really like this song (please ignore the cr*ppy intro :lol:)
