But doesent wanna work in my system lol. Just doesent get past the first checks, large single beeps. Re-set the CMOS (which made xp complain no end...forgot to turn the onboard stuff off lol) - and it did the same. Also removed my current ram, to use the reaper stuff alone, same problem.

I take it theres nothing else i can try? - Not that bothered tbh..selling was always a popular second idea!

Hmm, have you tried setting the ram to 800mhz, and the reapers stock timings in the bios? What mite be happening is the board is detecting the reapers elevated rated clock and trying too boot with that as its ram bus, when the board simply can't handle it.

When i say it beeps, it beeps - as soon as pc is turned on - so i cant get to the bios :/ (it doesent get to the nividia bios display XD)

Got a mates system you can test it in? And have you checked it for physical damage? Bad packaging has killed a few very expensive kits that were sent to OC3D.

Going to put it on ebay :/ - dont really need/dont have time/effort to put it into use myself ;)

You really should get it tested mate. Ifs its DOA then selling it ant gonna be the wise choice...

Ive had problems (no end) rma'ing stuff in the past, if your saying that OCZ (a make ive never used) are different, then i suppose its worth a go :)

(How do i RMA anyway?)

Have you tried booting with your current RAM to get into the BIOS and set the voltages etc for the new stuff, then save the BIOS (norm F10?)(not save+reset), power down and put the new stuff in

I remember there were problems with certain DDR2 RAM types with the i975x chipset where they wouldn't boot at the default voltage.

Does your mobo support the speed? :)

If it is DOA, just get it RMA'd tho tbh
