A quick question, what speakers are those and did you only have to remove the small shelf for the speakers to fit or did you do additional modifications?

Sony SS-3000 and I put the middle shelf on the bottom, the speakers fit perfectly then with about a centimeter left on every side. The desk is somewhat flimsy, the top just rests on the columns and can be easily shifted if you move around a bit or like to put your legs up. I drilled it into the base with 3 screws on each column, it's very stable now. I also added a grommet and some wire clips underneath for cable management. I used black electrical tape to cover up a bunch of holes in the columns for assembly, shelf mounting, etc. to make it seem flush.

Wow, that setup is nothing other then epic looking.... Now I have a new dream setup for free school when I can afford it, I really like how there is nothing on the desk, must make it really easy to clean when dusting just one wipe and done

I love your attention to detail...it's amazing how clean the whole setup looks - I love the white pipes that run the cables out of sight.

Kudos bro...sick refuge area =]

Really cool, love the floating monitors and the modern style desk. Also the detail and neat look of your whole setup
