Welcome to flavor country...

Hot damn. That is just about as awesome of a set up as I have seen in a while. I LOVE those wall mounts. When I saw the first pic I thought OMFG FLOATING MONITORS! Very nice looking.

Very nice indeed, but possibly just a bit too plain for me lol

What size monitors and what mounts are you using? Is it a complete pita to get them to all line up correctly?

23'' and kinda, there is a little bit of give in the side arms so you have to mount them level about 1/2 an inch higher than the center to have all bezels line up. I didn't anticipate this since the arms seemed really sturdy but only had to remount one, if I had to do it over again, I'd test mount in a closet or somewhere first.

Top notch product and pretty cheap imo (trip stands retail for 300+ and this looks way sicker).

Tooks the pics recently, I've had it set up since the end of August. The heater is actually a massive radiator setup for cooling the CPU -- not really, but that's something to think about, I don't use that heater since it doesn't get particularly cold in the winter and I have a portable heater that's more convenient.

For those orgasming about the chair, yes, it's pretty sweet. http://www.hermanmiller.com/Products/Embody-Chairs

Dude that is an amazing setup, how much in total do you think it cost you all?

Thanks, it's definitely up there. Prices are from when I actually bought the stuff, so some might be cheaper now.

Monitors: $200x3

Mounts: $200

Furniture: $300

Peripherals: $200

Receiver/Speakers: $250

Headphones: $100

Cabling: $150

Printer: $25

Chair: $600 (retails for $1200)

Q9550: $300

RAM/MOBO: $250

Xonar Essence STX: $200

Case: $150

Cooling: $150

Saph 6950 FleX: $300

Crucial M4 256GB SSD: $370

ProRAID /w 4x2TB: $1000

Misc: $100

So counting pretty much everything, it's north of $5200 for the whole enchilada not even counting the MacBook Pro. Wow, I really didn't want to know that, I never actually kept a tally since I bought everything gradually. I might bump the CPU/MOBO/RAM after the new chips come out, but games and everything run great right now so I might hold fort until Haswell.

Amazing

If we buy a new house im definetly getting 3 monitors. Be aware that the speakers(magnets) can damage the hdd's if they are to close.

Is that the 120cm or the 150cm table top?

Ikea Vika series FTW

It is from Ikea and I forget the name, but it's almost 80'' across. I think it is called the Vika or something like that.

That looks awesome, loving the floating monitors.

When your playing games, do the bezels get distracting?

You can adjust Eyefinity to compensate for the bezels. The real issue is most games either weren't designed for multiple screens (HUDs are all over the place, etc.) or the field of view isn't adjustable and drives you nuts. For the most part, I play games only on the center screen.

I didn't think of that, but I don't think it will be an issue. I'm going to move them a little more to the back just in case.
