Weird Windows issue?

Hey guys, some i noticed for the last two days is that my desktop freezes but my pc is not frozen. I'm not able to click on any desktop icons at all, its like they are a wallpaper and also the when i press the windows key on my keyboard, it doesn't work, when i click start menu with mouse, it works fine.

I'm puzzled as too what could be causing it.

some high end keyboards have windows key disabled when playing games, i would check the driver settings.

about freeze, tried reseting the explorer?

Found the issue, i ended all iexplorer.exe in processes in task manager and icons came back to life. I had 10 or so open for some reason. So glad its fixed

, i thought it may have been one the few recent windows updates i did

I so happy, i just hope it don't happen again. Never using Internet explorer now

Oh and btw, my folding PPD has now gone back up to 17K from only 8670, so now i know what caused the huge drop
