Weird Benchmark Points ?

Hey there !

In the last few years i recognized something.

Sometimes in Benchmarks Cards that should be extreme Good, totally suck and the low cost version of them takes over. Lets take for Example the 68 U and 68 GT. In alot of benchmarks the GT seems to have the Same Points or even more Points....

I have no idea how that happens but maybe you have an explaination.

I know that ATI and NVIDIA have different ranks in Different Benchmakrs because of Direct3D and OpenGL.

Some of us just overclock the fuck outta our cards :)

I could get ur Ultra to 6100+ 3dm05 in a heartbeat.

lol nah i overclocked my 68 U allready but it just lets me to like 454 Core and thats it... Just Tried coolbitz till now.

I've gotten my NU core to 405Mhz stable :D

Memory to 823MHz stable. Not bad i must say.

Stocks @ 325MHz, BFG stock 350mhz (which is where it is now)

454 on the clock is good... I wouldnt worry about that, and the ram is at a good speed too. Dunno why it's less. Is it AGP? I don't know how big of a difference it would make from PCI-E to AGP.

PCI-E

The PSU can deliver enough power if that would be another question of yours ;)

Hrmmm... I don't have a freakin' clue man! I got that bench at 2.5ghz, what was urs benched @?

2.449 Ghz

is mine on that was i think 220 x11 MHZ. Behind 220 MHZ Bus my Benchmarkpoints move down.

Very strange.... Sounds like bandwidth restriction problems. Whats ur HTT @?

its at 4 why ?

Just curious as if that could have been the problem w/ ur score going down w/ increased overclock.... Have you tried it at 2 or 3? It wont affect your performance.

Will try that in next OC Session... Any more Suggestions ?

(REP+)

Thx...

Ummm, as far as other suggestions... None but the obvious which I'm sure you know (voltages, timings, etc...) so I won't go into any of that. Thx for the reppage.
