Weird 290x Issue

Hey guys.
I recently came across a 290x and upgraded to it. However was not able to test the card out as it was watercooled. I now however have it all up and running, but im coming across a weird issue.. I am not able to get my main monitor working... Only my second one seems to want to work. BUT Both seem to work during boot up / until login screen. I assume this is because the CPU is doing this part.
Im running Windows 10.
Card is a reference Powercolor r9 290x with a Kyrographics cooler on it.
Mobo is a Asus P8Z68-V Pro.
CPU is a i5 2500k
Things Ive tried:
I have changed inputs on the gpu with no avail.
Ive only had my main monitor plugged in during boot. Nadda.
Ive uninstalled drivers and cleaned them with DDU. (on catalyst 15.7)
Tried older drivers. (Specifically 15.2)

Thoughts?

~UPDATE. HDMI Work on this monitor. DVI-D Does not. Thoughts?

No. They are both plugged into the gpu! I had two dvi-d monitors plugged in. But only my old 720p monitor works now.. But now my main monitor (asus 144hz monitor) only seems to be working via hdmi... Which caps at 60hz. Lol.

Maybe the port on the monitor is faulty? After all you have the 720p one working fine, yet the 144hz one works over HDMI.

Do you have a different GPU and cable to test with? Could also be the cable depending on the quality.

Hmm maybe. Im skeptical that it is the cable / port of the monitor though for two reasons.
A) i had this working like 3 days ago with no issues on my old gpu.
B) the monitor seems to work with no issues until after login?
Could it be something to do with settings thst this gpu doesnt support? Like it being "set" to 144hz and 1080p on the dvi connection which for whatever reason doesnt work? Haha. Just throwing ideas here. Today when im back from work ill try swapping out the dvi-d cable from thr monitors and seeing if that helps...
Id prefer not to have to run hdmi because then it would be a waste of the monitor as hdmi caps at 60hz..

~Er. Edit.~
So I swapped out both cables from the monitors, and it worked... I guess the 10 foot long cable just ... died or something? Although it works until login.. I Guess Ill just go get a new one hah.
