Heya ladies!,

Got another question for you lot... would it be worth getting an WD Black2Dual drive with 120GB SSD and an 1TB in the same drive?...

As it's currently on an -25% sale, so thought why not?...

Although wanted to hear what you guys think before hand :)

I currently have a Samsung 840 Pro for my OS and programs, a Corsair Force Series 3" 180GB for my games and then one 150GB WD Raptor for music, pictures and other random crap for years of storage lol and then lastly an 3TB WD Green, with the same crap as the Raptor lol.

So I've thought of getting an WD Black or Seagate later down the line, something around 4-6TB for massive recording space and then having the 3TB Green for random storage (music etc) and then get this for a dedicated storage for Photoshop, ie having the program on the SSD and the 1TB for projects. If you get my point here?...

Thanks yall!

Over & Out!,

This drive is only worth it once the price is lower than the price of a standalone 120GB SSD + 1TB HDD, or if you're going to put it into a laptop or very small desktop system with only one 2.5" bay.

How do you mean exactly?...

How do you mean exactly?...

Well, if you have the room in your system for a 120GB SSD (mSata/2.5"/M.2) and a 1TB Hard drive (2.5"/3.5") then why would you spend more on the Black² to get essentially the same storage options and performance?

He meant exactly what he said

...and he said all there is to say. Unless the price is significantly lower or their is a distinct advantage to using that form factor then there is no point.
