Hey guys I'm starting to use a new case I was wondering if I should get the x s p c rasa water cooling kit the 750 rs 240 and I was thinking of getting the antec df 85 and get another radiator so I can watercool my CPU and my 2 6870 but I was wondering if the two radiators will cool both of them

Yes 2 240 Radiators would be able to cool them but

1. i'd Recommend the RX-240 instead of the RS.

2. Probably not at a silent operation.

But get some more responses before making a final decision.

agreed the rx's will suit ya better in the long run and the XSPC 750 pump should be enough to pump thru it all. any larger of rad or another block I'd say skip the kit and go custom as ur pretty close to it already. With decent fans you should have a nice setup.

Would case be absolutely fine I mean It has potential with two dual 120 mm fan area's and so the two radiators are enough what sort of loop would u suggest I was thinking from the pump to the CPU to the first Rad to the graphics cards then to the second Rad the bak to the pump and so on or would that be not the best way to loop the system

Do u think that my xfx 750w is ok to power the water cooling system I know its enough to power my CPU and 2 6870's but is it enough for the kit and the two radiator 's

More than enough, you only need to power the pump and your fans.

A D5 pump is 24w and your fans are around 5w each (some fans use more and some use less though) that's based on Amps * Volts = Watts by the way.

Cheers guys for the help I definatly getting the df 85 case and I'm gonna get the watercooling kit with the second rx 240 cheers guys great help any. Idea on a loop system for the CPU and the two gfx cards

its not majorly important which order ya go in just make it tidy I normally try rez/pump/rad/cpu/rad/gpu's/rez but in all reality it'll only make a 1-3c temp difference so best said make it tidy

urm the guys at toms hardware dont think that the 2 240mm rads will be enough to cool the cpu and the 2 graphics cards they say i need a 240 and a 360mm rads and supposidly a better case because the Antec df-85 isnt going to hold the 2 240 mm fans inside the case one will have to be oudside of the case

so is there any suggestions on this and what do you think about the case problem do you think the antec df-85 is going to be enough or ????? reccomendations

I think that the 2 240mm radiators would be used with fans at close to high fan speeds and if you want a quiet system you might want to go with more radiator space. But if sound isn't a problem then you could go for them.

But another idea could be the Shinobi XL and 2 Custom 360mm Radiators to allow adequate cooling for the 2 6870's and the CPU. But the only problem then would be that you couldn't use something like the XSPC 5.25 Bay Pump/Res Because there wouldn't be enough room and the pump would have to be put on the floor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJJ5f2cz3kA&feature=g-user-u. This goes through the possibilities with the Shinobi XL.

Another option would be to dump the idea of water cooling and get a good air cooling system which wouldn't be as good of a system but would be much cheaper and less of a worry.

Good Luck =D
