Water Cooling in a Fractal R3.

Hello OC3D! After TTL latest review I was wondering about how a custom loop would fit in a R3. I've had me R3 for many months now and am considering water cooling. I know already that’s it's not an ideal case for this, but I'd at least like to give it a go. I have seen online someone remove all the HDD bays ( drilling out the rivets ) and install a 240 rad in the front, a thick one too.

So I'm after suggestions really - Thought about sticking a Rad on the outside of the top with the fans inside - if this is done, does a silly Radbox have to be used or can it attach straight to the case?

What about a loop with a GPU, extra rad on the back? Like i said just looking for information and suggestions

I have seen a R3 with a 280 RAD and fans mounted on the outside, only thing i can see a problem with is moving the case without messing up the RAD but you can stick some fan grills over the RAD to stop the fins getting damaged.

Why not try get it all inside the case?
