Water cooling a Radeon 7990

Hi. I just got a sweet deal on a 7990 and i want to watercool it.
Today i have a 240 (60mm) rad, cooling a 780 but i am not sure it can handle a 7990.
Anyone have some advice to give me?

Do you have a CPU in the loop as well? If so, I'd suggest adding a 360mm x 60mm radiator, or if not, another 240mm x 60mm would probably suffice.

I think your current radiator is enough to cool the 7990.

Just out of curiosity why are you going with the 7990? I'd personally stick with the 780 ><.

It has better performance at higher resolutions and better performance in general (in games that support crossfire).

Yeah but you get all the problems accosiated with CF and it looks like he has acrylic tubing, have fun re-setting it up and buying a new waterblock for the 7990. It seems like a lot more hassle than it's worth.

The problems are as bad as the problems with SLI these days. I know a complete idiot who runs crossfire 280x and its been fine despite his best attempts :'). I'd make the change as the extra VRAM and grunt is always nice, especially at higher resolutions. Heck I even considered buying a 7990 myself for my itx build but it turns out a glass case isn't the best idea for such a heat happy card :(.
