I definitely want one but it is strange Sony only went for 36 CUs. You think they would have learned from MS's mistake last time about how minor the power difference was yet the impact on sales it had. Sony should have either beefed it up OR release a Pro version alongside it that is more powerful. Would have made more sense seeing how MS was clearly eyeing a performance crown since the One X launched.


That being said I think if this comes in at around $450 at most this will be a pretty big seller. MS console is going to be at least $600.

I couldn't care less about the Xbox, tbh. And simply because the Xbox game library doesn't interest me nearly as much as that of the PlayStation. On top of that, the PS5 will definitely be cheaper, judging by the hardware specs.

Well, the Xbox One has lower hardware specs than the PS4 and it was more expensive. Sony also has what seems to be a more expensive SSD.

Microsoft's also probably willing to take a hit on the hardware to match Sony, and be generous with game pass early on.
