WAE+ Is a Con! - Avoid

Today is my 32nd Birthday, and.... Still no delivery of the i5 3570k or the MSI G45 that was ordered from WAE+ end of July. Phoned this morning to find out what's happening with it and I was greeted with an automated message saying "High volume of calls, blah blah". Checked the website > www.waeplus.co.uk and it appears to be down - company gone bust by the looks of it....

Really gutted, £270 gone and I wish I ordered it with Aria!

Avoid WAE+ at all costs.

Should of checked here first, eh? I'm not the only one....http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/waeplus.co.uk

That sucks dude!

I hope there is a way you can try to reclaim your money, that is a lot of money to lose like that.

Thank you for posting about this, it will help others to avoid that site and similar misfortunes.

I really feel like I should've posted how I managed to deal with wae+ before as I did finally manage to get my case from them. Make sure you have sent plenty of emails demanding you get the item, make sure to remind them that if you do not get your item soon you'll report them to trading standards and you should get your item. By law they have to provide the goods within thirty days. You're not the first on the forum to be screwed by them, here is the other thread with this on.
As advised in the other thread, open a dispute with them through your bank and you will get your money back promptly :).

Ah absolute nightmare, I hope you can get it resolved. Thanks for the heads up though. Hopefully others will see this and avoid them, hopefully take a positive out of a negative.

after 28 days if you have not received your item/(s) they have to give you your money back it is illegal for them to be holding your money following distance trading laws.
Phone them up and tell them this and if they try to give you a refund then you have to tell them to not treat this like a refund as they are breaking the law already if they give you a "refund" they will hold on to your money for long i got stung getting a graphics card a little while back

actually having the exact same issue with i-cases.de right now, their website shut down 3 days ago, not sure if a lawyer could help me. 400 euros gone

States that all cases need to be reviewed by administrators (how long that takes is anyone's guess).

I have a sneaking suspicion they'll be back, I believe when they were WAE they declared they went into administration then re appeared a few months later as WAE+. They apparently lost their ISIS accreditation recently so they are good as dead.
