W/C Gigabyte X48-DQ6

Hi,

I am going to W/C a Gigabyte X48-DQ6, I have the North / South and Mosfet coolers sorted but am not sure about the CPU cooler.

I was looking at the EK Supreme plexi but the base looks pretty big.

Anyone know if this fits my mobo or would another block be better ?

BTW I am cooling an Intel Q9450 quad core

EK have fixed the compatibility issues of the first mounting plate and it should now fit no probs. There is also the new Swiftech GTZ that you might want to take a look at - they're optimised for Intel CPU's

I can find the GTX but not the GTZ, is there a big difference between them ?

I found it now but looks like a pre-order, not avaliable till end of August

Might be worth the wait though after reading the specs'
