Vista Problems!

Ok, so I am having some errors with vista. When doing multiple things such as Media center recording, plus multiple fire foxes, AIM, game, all at once, my computer crashes into a blue screen. This has happened enough times for me to worry. The error I usually get is inpage error. I am thinking 1 gig ram isn't enough since one time I got an error that said something about memory, and using my memory gadget, it shows a high usage of memory usually always around 50-80 percent.

How much swap do you have, you might want to increase that to see if that helps the problem.

What's swap? :]

Oh, and on bootup its at 80 percent usage. Damn Vista, what a resource whore O_o

My cpu is always at like 10 percent usage but my ram is always at 50 damn...

From all the specs I have seen, an internal hard drive will outperform a flash drive, it also won't have a limited life like flash memory does. Sorry for calling it swap, I was in Linux mode.

it's only a temp solution.... and when you think that the hard drive will be being hammered when the whole computer is under stress. the flash option would probly be quicker.

in xp, i think you right click my computer, properties, then advanced etc til you get to the right option. not sure on vista tho..

Ok I tried what you guys were saying and none of t seemed to work, either way it'd prolly be better off with another gig, correct?
