Vista Graphics not Working?

Hey all :)

I've recently made the move to Vista and am having graphics problems. The text or image is not 100% crisp, you know not fitting in perfectly with the pixels on the screen. The normal eye probably wouldn't notice as it's not that bad, but I do.

Also, the graphics in CAD is poor, it cannot keep up when I move and whistle clicky sounds come form inside the computer (HD/ GPU??). I did a quick Google, but just wondering if anyone has any ideas of suggestions.

Also

- HL2 seems to play fine.

- Installed latest 32bit nVIDIA driver

- 7800GTX 512MB

- Vista Ultimate (Trail)

I could be wrong but It could be somthing to do with you using the (Trail) version OS as the new drivers are for the latest version.

I think that it's the full version, but just requires activation within 30 days. I'll have the proper retail release next week - I just wanted to ensure it runs my software okay before committing to it.

I have a feeling that it could be that the nVIDIA drivers are still not optimised - they have a note about it on their download page.

Another possibility is it could be chipset/ mobo drivers. I'm going to investigate that now :)

lol - I unistalled the nVIDIA drivers and it works fine now! How crazy is that?! :D

nVIDIA REALLY need to sort out their drivers!
