Very Tired Today Due To N.S.W Fires

Got a lot of respect for you guys, that's some scary shit.

Hope the weather will be nice for you these next few days. Stay safe!

I hope it pisses down, thats what he needs. :p
I nearly shit myself today we had 15mins of rain seem like everyones prayers are being answered so keep em coming and who knows we might even get more rain and wont that bring some smiles to some dials!!!

Speaking as a fellow new south welshman, I can only admire the camaraderie and teamship (not to mention sheer acts of selflessness) that all the volunteers in the RFS go through every summer. We do seem to have fires just about every year, but every 7 it gets really bad.... Looks like this year is one of those ones.

Without meaning to sound pompous, on behalf of every unknown person who you (and all your kind) help, thank you. You may not save every property you would like, or even every life, but your efforts do not go unnoticed, and they are appreciated by more than you know.

Well I have some great news tonight I have just finished being on duty and can report that the fire danger faced by us has eased and fire crews are now getting some much needed rest!!
I would also like to say A BIG THANKYOU to everyone on this forum who supported me through this tough time your kind words and warm thoughts meant a very great deal to me.

Huge props to you and everyone else helping out in such a terrible situation. Great to hear you guys are getting some well earned rest. Here's hoping that it's all good news from here on out. Stay safe!!!!

I'm so glad your area got some well needed rain , even if it was just for 15 minutes. I would have liked to hear that you got 2 or 3 hours of a good rain just to make sure all the fires are out. Hopefully you get more rain in the next few days.
Huge thanks to you and your fellow fire fighters.
Rest up my friend , and stay safe.
