very serious problem with beeeps

hey guyz,just got a major problem up my sleeve.

i have purchased the foll config

i7 2600k

msi p67A GD65-b3

gskill ripjaws X 8GB

corsair hx850

2x 1TB hdd

gtx 580 lightning.

now this is the problem.

All leds on the board lightup.the cpu fan and other fans spin.then i get 3 random and 5 periodic beeps and no display.can anyone suggest any solution?tried putting individual sticks in each slot and yet same problem.plz help

probably a vid card issue have you put the pci-e power to the cards??? if yes try reseating the card. Also check the manual it may give an indication to what the beep codes are. But seeing as you have no display I'm guessing either bad power to the vc or a bad vc

also check you pluged them into the correct port on ur psu

the CPU cooler's sensors are causing BIOS to halt

what heatsink are you using?

Make sure the power supply you have can supply sufficient power for the rig ! and all cables are connected and none and DOA !

3 beeps is a memory error and 5 is a CPU error according to this.

But that is quite old and i don't know if they kept the old beep codes for the new BIOS or changed them.

EDIT: Just read here that the new MSI boards beep once for each USB device you have as well, don't know if that has anything to do with it but I thought i'd mention it.

Try and old VGA card if you have one, use one stick of RAM and reseat the CPU and cooler. See if you can get to BIOS and then once you get there try different configurations to assess your problem.
