ok im going to be water cooling my next build and have some GPU questions.
first will i see any gains (Besides temp) from using a HIS (Or any "Stock" card) over a Asus card.

Also what is the difference beetwen the ASUS Radeon HD7970 DirectCU II and ASUS Radeon HD7970 DirectCU II TOP.

I will be heavily overclocking the cards. :):):)

Under water, you should be able to overclock the cards a little more, so you may see a little gain in performance.

There isnt really any difference between the cards themselves. If it's a stock card, the card regardless of the 'brand' is identical because it's made by AMD themselves. The ASUS cards are made by ASUS themselves, but you can still buy waterblocks.

If you're watercooling, you're best to go for the cheapest stock card you can, as there isnt really a difference. You may be best looking at warranties a little because some AMD manufacturers dont honour warranties if you watercool, whereas most nvidia brands do, so I'd look at getting a 670 if I was you

And the Top version means the card is already overclocked.
And i think the DC2 card from asus run really cool and quiet compared to other ones.

ok cool the only reason i was thinking about the asus cards was because they have better power delivery so i was thinking i might be able to push them a reasonable amount more then the slandered ones. but if it is only a small amount i might just go with the HIS ones. and yea i will have to look into the warranty that is a good point.
