Guys I have a Vapo LS and I would like to know if this is normal as my prommie does not do it.The temp goes in cycles from +/-35c to +/-48c . I also hear the bubbling sound like water dropping on oil as described by some and have seen posts that this is okay, means I dont have enough load ,well on mine this normally happens under extreme load,or benching.

here is hoping I dont have probs.cant upload attachment as it only allows 39kb to show graph of vapo

:(

This is completely normal, once you give the unit enough load it will give you constant temps underload, the water sound is liquid refridgerent (ie hasnt been evaporated as there isnt enough heat).

With my LS it takes about 2.65GHz A64 Newcastle @ 1.7Vcore before the temps stabilise under load.

Thanks , MasterG and nice scores there :p ,I must say I am supprized at no enough load running fx55 @ 3200mhz @ 1.72v .

Lol, my motherboard sucks **** tbh, no dual channel mode for me even after 4 RMAs and about 5 different sets of RAM. Max i can do is about 2.75 :(

Is your LS a rev1 or rev2? I think your chip should give enough load lol, what ambient temp are you running it in?

Not sure what revision where do I see that.IT is usb, using control 3.10 and our winter ambiant is around 18c/22c.Those are great scores for those speeds by the way dying to bench waiting for new cards not replacing my dead 6800u until I've seen new release soon.

thanks for help .

ya, idle temp varies, when not underload for long periods

overtime the bubbling sound will disappear. i've had mine on for 16month and bubbling sound is gone.
