Valve and HTC claims to have made a VR Technological Breakthrough

The HTC Vive has been delayed until April 2016 due to a recent "big technological breakthrough" by HTC and Vive. The companies will be skipping the Original Vive and ship the new and improved version in April.

It will be very interesting to see what it is, as the fact that it has delayed the launch this much hopefully means that it really is something big.

Right now it is hard to guess what it is, this breakthrough could be almost anything from reducing motion sickness to increasing the devices performance or decreasing latency. It could even be a new headset design that is simply a lot lighter and easier to wear.

Did they add hooks to fix a bag for those that suffer from motion sickness?

To jump on what WYP says: they might have added some accelerating hardware, like on the Playstation VR.
That way, graphics cards are suffering bit less, and the reactivity is strongly increased.
