I'm currently rocking the below setup and I'm quite pleased with it, but not just quite satisfied with the side monitors not having VESA mounts.
On display is my rig Frosty (Will be posting in the rig gallery shortly and tell his story - well he'll be a build log, as he's going to be getting a few upgrades himself).
The displays are an ol ASUS TN monitor 1680x1050, an ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q and finally a 1920x1080 LG IPS monitor. Admittedly the LG has by far the best colors, but I'm impressed as hell by the Swift and Gsync.
I have a TC Electronic BMC-2 powering my BeyerDynamics DT990Pros. It's a jet clock DAC & monitor control unit, that I use solely as a headphone amp. It's waaay overkill but since I work for the company I got it cheap. (Actually the company I work for also owns Tannoy, the Scottish speaker manufacturer that send TTL the Reveal 402's.) That was a detour back to the subject.
Mouse and keyboard is a Razer Naga Epic and a Logitech G510 membrane keyboard.
Behind the ASUS is a Synology DS212j - a neat little NAS unit and probably my most frequently used piece of hardware. It is one of those things you just can't live without when you have first tried it.
I work in IT and sit all day at the desk, so I need a decent chair at home as well so I got the AK racing Premium Gaming Char V2. It is by far perfect, but it is way better then the Ikea something I had before.
I've spent too much time doing cable management, but I simply can not stand looking at a nice desk and setup just to have it ruined by cables crawling down the wall.
Now the title says upgrading so onwards!
I've had a rare opportunity to go all out balls to the walls crazy with new hardware so lo and behold:
2 x WD RED 2 TB HDD
2 x Ubiquity 802.11 AC APs
1 x Synology DS415+
2 x ASUS PG278Q
1 x Newstar FPMA-D700D3 triple monitor Mount
1 x Corsair K70 RGB Cherry MX red
2 x Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition PWM fans
I'm pretty stoked... actually to the point where I considered not making a post and just get on with setting up the new gear, but hell... the whole idea of these rigs and desktop threads is to show of your stuff.
I'll update when I have the screen and keyboard set up. The Wifi and NAS is planned for another weekend.
Update 1:
Turns out my desks are too narrow (58cm) when mounting the screens to the stand. So I'm waiting on a new desk to arrive which will be 180x90cm.
