Upgrading from 2x 280's to 3x 500 Series Advice?

i have dual sli 280's nvidia beta tester cards. i have a p55 ftw 200 powered by a i7 860, silverstone st1500 psu. my question what can i go with in triple sli 500 series with good gaming images in 3d mode on a 1680x1050 display on a tight budget. ty in advance.

not only yes but hell yes you got more than enough power to push 3 500 series cards.

Tight budget makes me think your talking about lower cards like the 550 or 560ti, its 570 minimum for 3way and that would be utter overkill, 1x 580 or 1x 570 will be plenty even if you upgrade your monitor setup.

Ah good, I'd like to try 3D and have been discouraged by performance results so I though 3 great cards was needed, I'll look it up some day
