If you had spent as long as I have standing in OCUK playing Dirt and Grid on the demo PC's with only a keyboard you would understand. One time I had to take something back for a fix, I had no CPU to flash my Rampage BIOS, I gave it to the guy and he flashed it with a Sandy. I just went to the other end of the store playing Grid, I played for so long the guy actually finished left my board on the counter and went to get lunch :D Over an hour later I was like hang on i'm in a shop, huh whats up with that, went back to the counter and saw the box and was like wtf he hasn't done it and waited until he had finished lunch to come back and tell me he did it 30 mins ago.

I just shaved a little off SPS's time, not as good as I would of liked but I will end up staying up all night. Plus this happened which kinda finished the session for me...

Holy crap you flipped it on Silverstone.. I've bounced pretty high but not flipped yet. I've given up for the night, the car is really starting to bug me.
 
1.21.4 with no aids. I'm not counting the Rivali time it had aids on, also it won't remove the time and update with my new set up. Also TPC & SPS what's with the raceline guys?

I had it left on while I was practicing on Spa for the first time, something I like to do when I first play a track.
 
I wish i could join you guys, but atm both of my ankles and my right wrist are fucked up. Not a good idea to play racing games.

Fair enough I used to do that too, I have found though this Rivali is a teeny bit limited.

I've had an idea for a challenge, what do you guys think.
Wraithguards Hunt the masters Triple F1 Time challenge.

Your mission should you chose to accept it is to rival or beat the 2014 times set by Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg at Spa, Silverstone and Imola, the vehicle chosen for this challenge is the Lotus Exos 125 Stage 1.

Spa Circuit 1:50.511 Nico Rosberg

Silverstone Circuit 1:37.176 Lewis Hamilton

Imola Cicuit 1:28.004 Lewis Hamilton

Criteria for qualifying times are as follows:

NO Racing Line
NO ABS
NO Traction Control
NO Stability Management
NO Auto Brake
NO Auto Throttle Blip

Auto Shifter Optional
Auto Clutch Optional

The challenge is ready, are you up to it?

Sounds good but I have a few concerns.
The top time at spa on Rivali is 1:52:337 and Silverstone is 1:37:327.

Is it even possible to beat them times?

I know the Rivali DB isn't exactly exhaustive but I was just curious.

Mmm I've cross referenced the times on Rivali and the Official F1 times, Silverstone is doable not sure on Spa its a real challenge.. I think it's a good target especially as they were set by pros, not only do we have the competition amongst our selfs, we can see just how far off the real world records we are.

Going to have a look at RSRLive, but last I read they were having issues with Steam validation and composing their results tables.

EDIT: A couple of practice laps. 60fps with ShadowPlay.. don't seem to be working well.

I didn't even try to race it yet, i was just going around the course at medium speed with various cars on road tyres. It's nice to have a track you can have fun on and stay relaxed, doing the Nordschleife is stressful.

I was trying the track with zhe P4/5 Competizione at first and man, thats an brilliant car for the track, you can max out so many corners, just brilliant :D
 
Want to have some fun get this beast added to your cars and just cruise! then maybe let your inner boy racer out and slide the old girl around. :)
