.update, here's how to do the first corner of monza perfectly. at the last distance mark you go into 4th gear and to about 190 km/h, pedal to the metal, if you do it right you can exit that corner at 190km/h, you will go down to about 180 in the corner. still trying to get a perfect lap, mainly the last corner is fucking me up but i reckon i can do sub 2:03.

i did break it. 1:59.232
video is currently uploading, there were one or two minor mistakes so i think 1:58 is possible, don't think 1:57 is possible though.
I'm struggling to find where I can be 6 secs faster......... manual gearbox has helped........ but I'm losing 6 whole secs somewhere......hurry with that vid

6 minutes remaining. here's another trick that will improve your cornering speed a lot. instead of holding the steer button down you tap it, that way you will corner at the same angle but you don't loose nearly as much speed. i don't know if that is a bug or if it actually works that way, maybe it just stabilizes the wheels, but it helps a heck of a lot. you will see what i mean in the vid.
god damn that game is a bitch to record, usually i can record anything at 1080p 60fps given that the game runs at 60+ but in this game my recording fps drop to 24 some times (the game fps remain at 45-50).

I'm so tempted to buy this, but the price went up to 35e on steam and I'd rather not buy a russian key since they have their risks.
I picked mine up at 'gamekeys4all' which are world wide region free, a lot of the CD key sites didn't have AC listed.....and was the cheapest I could find....
was sure I mentioned it.....but have have been in my other thread.

Yup, you did, but it isn't an official steam partner. There's a number of things that can happen:
1) Key gets revoked due to it's shady source
1b) Since it's from a shady source your account might be taken down as well.
2) THEY have the proof of purchase (actual physical copy), and that can even be used to reclaim your account.
Of course most of the time the keys work but they are cheap for a reason.

Bought mine at gamekeyz.net, they deliver via steam gift, not much that can go wrong there. Also they'd kill their business if they would start fucking over people.
