My Snow White rig has seen many tiny upgrades but, alas, has seen better days.

Here is my new rig:

CPU:
i9-7980XE Pre-Binned/Delidded @4.6 (from overclockers uk, as de8auer has run out of stock). (bought today)

CASE:
Cooler Master MasterCase H500P Mesh White (bought today)

OS DRIVE(S):
Samsung 970 PRO 1TB V-NAND M.2 (for windows10). (bought today)
Samsung 970 PRO 512GB V-NAND M.2 (for hackintosh). (bought today)

WATERCOOLING:
Thermaltake Pacific Gaming R360 D5 LCS Solution Water Cooling Kit (bought today)
EK-FB ASUS ROG R6E RGB monoblock - clear. (bought today)
Thermaltake CL-W114-OS00TR-AC1000 Pure Clear Water Cooling Coolant - Transparent. (bought today)
Grizzly Kryonaut thermal 12.5W/M, K 5.5g. (bought today)
2Ltr MICAL-AGUA Destilada (distilled water to flush rad). (bought today)

MEMORY:
G.SKILL F4-3866C18Q-32GTZR Trident Z RGB Series 32 GB (8 GB x 4) DDR4 3866 MHz PC4-30900 CL18 Quad Channel Memory Kit. (bought today)

(Orders should all arrive the 8th June)

====================================

Corsair AX1200. (already owned)
2x Toshiba X300 4TB. (already owned)
Rampage VI Apex. (already owned)

Braided cable extensions will be bought after the build is complete.
Depending on the noise and temps that I get fro the Riing 12 fans, I may buy Corsair RGB MagLev fans (3x120 for the rad and 1x140 for the case exhaust).

I will make a proper log, as and when all the parts have arrived.

 wowser, that's a spicy meatball! Look forward to seeing the build log and some benches.

happy days...

the only seller letting me down at the moment, with shipping, is for the monoblock.
#nobiggy

the case and cpu are expected this saturday. :D

For those that are wondering about fitting the R6A (EATX) mobo in the H500P Mesh (mid-tower)...

According to the websites they are incompatible, but... I have seen a build on YouTube, with an R6E build and it fits beautifully.

This is the beauty of being a 50yr olde semi-retired single bloke. no kids. no mortgage. no debts. no pets. the occasional short-term GF. ;)

life is good. :D

I cant complain. My partner does not comment on any of my purchases no matter how high the cost. I'm the bread earner and we are both loyal and open to each other so if I spend 50,000nok on something I tell her and she smiles with interest on what it was :D My bike was not even Christened by my booty. It was hers. She wanted to ride it first haha.

everything else, apart from the monoblock, arrives 2moro.

i feel like a kid on xmas eve.
--------------------------------

i am tempted not to wait for the block, and build the rig with my old H115 AIO @stock... just to flash the bios, clone OSs to the NVMEs, and let it settle in.

i could then do some benches and compare them to the W/C'd final build.

i just need the memory and the monoblock.
(but, it's a sunday and bank holiday = the chances of them being delivered before tuesday are zero)

1st fix of watercoling complete.

i used an old gpu to help get the right lines and lengths for the tubing.

TIP:
always cut your tubing ~5-10mm longer than required.
cutting it longer than needed can always be shortened if needed... but cutting it too short - can't be lengthened. ;)
