Ultimate gamingpc

So, I've finally come to an end and picked out my components carefully. Here they are:
CPU: INTEL CORE I5 4670K 3.4GHZ 6MB S-1150
PSU: FRACTAL DESIGN TESLA R2 650W
GPU: ASUS GEFORCE GTX 770 OC 2GB PCI-E DVI/HDMI/DP
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-D3H Z87 S-1150 ATX
CPUcooler: NOCTUA NH-D14 S-1155/1156/1366/AM3
Case: FRACTAL DESIGN MIDITOWER DEFINE R4 TITANIUM
DDR3: CORSAIR 16GB DDR3 VENGEANCE LP PC3-12800 1600MHZ CL10 (2X8GB)
SSD: CORSAIR FORCE GT SERIES 3 2.5" 120GB SSD MLC
Disk: SEAGATE BARRACUDA 500GB 7200RPM SATA/600 16MB

So, what do you guys think? I dont want any advice for changing the list, just general opinions :)

I have the R4 and tbh i kinda wish i got the Arc Midi 2 instead. More watercooling friendly. That D14 will look pretty ugly if you choose the window version. Other than that drop the ram to 8b and upgrade the ssd.

I know you asked for opinions and no changing the list but you can't expect that from enthusiasts.

If you're getting that board, you HAVE to get Vengeance pro ram to match it dude :)

Apart from that, and the fact 8gb ram is enough for most things, you're set :)

???
So basically, you just want people to say 'Yeah everything's fine' or nothing at all?
Can't really say any critical about a list without advising you to change anything?

There's a few things I'd personally change.

Sounds fine to me! I'm just a little sceptical about the GTX770. Would you mind linking me (or pm'ing) some benchmark results of the overall system performance, I'd be really interested!

For my scepticism for the GTX 770, a friend who usually does only light gaming just ordered a GTX 780 for his gaming rig.
I'll get me a GTX Titan, just because it says "Titan" on the Top... ;)

I think "ultimate gaming pc" is more than a little optimistic and youve made some pretty slack choices tbh.

posts with "ultimate" in the title should be insta deleted. there is no such thing as an ultimate system and this system is upper mid range at max.
i dont know what you are on about with this line

we aren't supposed to change the list but you don't give us anything to base an opinion on, no pics.

I wouldn't call that an "Ultimate gaming pc" TBH.
Maybe tell us how much you want to spend for your rig, and than maybe we can work something better out for you. I would go for H100i instead of D-14, as you don't have ram issues with AIO coolers.

I was thinking of getting one of those 2, but choosed d.14 because I've heard it's a very good cooler and my ram is lowprofile

Yeah sorry, doesn't feel 'ultimate' but since you don't want advice...

Crowds here can be a little harsh, but seems you dodged a bullet on this one. Like everyone else has already stated, this is not Ultimate nor even high-end in my opinion.

For someone that 'carefully picked' parts, I'd sure like to see what criteria made you select your choices because I would have gone a completely different route. First, you don't need 16g of ram. Second, I don't think you actually reviewed into much of what you selected. Finally, why even ask for input if your not going to consider making changes to your build selection?

All in all, this thread seems like you just want us to know what your planning on building rather than take comments on how to improve.

*sigh*. added a second tag to clarify my stance on this... :S It's so wound up in here lately....

I think its a damn fine rig. Yeah its not "ultimate" but its still good enough to max any game at 1920x1080. Solid motherboard, best air cooler on the market, SSD, decent power supply.

Dont understand why you went 500GB on the hard drive. There is really no reason not to get a 1TB because theyre only a few bucks more for twice the storage capacity. Games can suck up hard drive space a lot quicker than you think.

Id also rather have a Seasonic Platimum power supply but thats more just brand preference.

another point on the ram. you would be much better off getting 8gb but more importantly 1600mhz is pretty much entry level speed now. for haswell you should be looking at at least 2133mhz
