uh... what up? :)

Hey there :)

We've lost a few guys due to various reasons, but we're still holding strong :). Tom's upcoming super F@H rig should give us a massive boost when it's ready.

i had folding at home installed, but never got around to getting any work finished, life is what happens when you're busy folding :P

for such a small team it is doing really well

Yeah, if you need the rig for other things, you can't really fold.

i'm studing software devlopment (visual basic/c#) @ HNC i really enjoy it but a lot of my time gets taken by it, free time goes to halo 4.

you can set it to just use idle cycles but i don't think my i3 is gonna get work down in any reasonable time frame.

hopeing my next upgrade ill be soon so i can get some points for the team.

I can definitely relate with that. I had to do a lot of 3D based programming in my final year at uni, which made it difficult to dedicate a lot of time to folding.

hi guys, i only got my old rig (920/gtx460) but i might start a bit of work soon

where's my old gang?

There's a few of us around from the old RR site. I'm still plugging along and steve is hammering out the PPD as usual. You should stick around for awhile. ;)

Is this my old buddy from MO/Futuremark/Redline days?

We had a time there you, me, twizz, and a bunch of others.....

Not a lot of old timers left right now, mainly blah and I from way back, but we'd be proud to have you rejoin us and carry on the legacy of HP and Redline!!!

Welcome back my friend!!!:)

Steve!B) thanks for the warm welcome, yes i'm back to re-join my old buddies,
i've missed you guys

good times, 'stevehat1' to me is synonymous to 'aircooled 3dmark domination':D

Nice to have you back fella, may be you'll set a trend and some of the other "old timers" will make a comeback...

i'm doing something very wrong with the gpu, it won't finish a wu even with downclocking.
at idle (medium setting) it seems to work, but when i wake up the monitor it goes back to 0%

gtx 460 win7 64/331.93

In FAH Advanced Control the slider should be set to full.

Set smp to 7 as the card needs a full core to run

With older Nvidia cards I use 314.22 drivers

the new web-client confuses the hell out of me. It also seems like can't set things up anymore as detailed as it used to be. I toyed around with it on my MacBook, but I just can't get the hang of it.

sorry for the late reply, it gets a little busy during the week...

Steve, i got it setup as you said except the smp @ 7 setting, where can i change that, is it a shortcut flag?
i have managed to complete a wu on the gpu, but still losing others

mihapiha, give it a little time, i find it much better than the old interface:)

Good to see some of the old school lot back - this team is still very much about its roots and Ill never let that slide.

Ive got some bits planned to help raise the profile again, I cant do it constantly so Ill need you boys to keep the momentum once I have started it ;)

In advanced control go to configure, slots, CPU, at the top of this page is a place to set the number of cpu threads the slot should use
